Fuji Xerox (China) Limited was registered as a wholly-foreign-owned company in Beijing on January 3, 1995 with a total investment of US$ 39 millions. The parent companies of Fuji Xerox (China) Ltd. are Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. in Japan, which is a 75/25 joint venture between Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. of Japan and Xerox Corporation of USA.

       With its headquarters in Beijing, the company has 16 branches in different Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao and Nanjing.. Fuji Xerox (China) Ltd. also registered in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone a wholly owned subsidiary-Fuji Xerox Industry and Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

       Fuji Xerox has two factories in China including Fuji Xerox of Shanghai Limited; and Fuji Xerox High-Technology Company of Shenzhen.

       Fuji Xerox of Shanghai Limited was set up on November 4, 1987. It is a joint venture with an investment of US$ 38 million by Fuji Xerox (China) Limited, Shanghai Shen Bei Office Machinery Company, Fuji Film (China) Ltd., and Shanghai Jiu Shi Company. Fuji Xerox of Shanghai was the only enterprise in the industry that received the "Quality Management Award" from the Shanghai Municipal Government in 1990. In 1992, Fuji Xerox of Shanghai gained ISO9001 certificate. From 1992 to 1994, Fuji Xerox Shanghai was named as "the Advanced Foreign Enterprise of Profit and Foreign Exchange Generation" for three consecutive years, and its products were granted the "Golden Bridge Award" by the former Ministry of Internal Trade for two consecutive years. It has also gained the title of "High Technology Enterprise" in Shanghai. In 1998, Fuji Xerox of Shanghai gained 14000 certificates. In 2001, Fuji Xerox Shanghai was awarded the title of "Top 10 enterprise of China Machinery Industry in 2000" by China United Federation of Industry and Economy, China United Federation of Machinery Industry and China Machinery News. In 2002, Fuji Xerox of Shanghai was named "Top 500 in Sales of China Machinery Industry" by China Machinery Industry Yearbook. In 2003, the company's WC Pro 420/415 digital copier/printers were identified by five Chinese ministries as "2003 State Key New Products". In 2004, the company received "2003 National Award of Double Excellency of Foreign Invested Company".

       Fuji Xerox High Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was founded on June 2, 1995 with the registered capital of US$ 38 million. The total investment is US$ 59 million. The company manufactures laser printers, thermal printers, ink jet printers, optical electronic copiers, digital copiers, laser scanning devices, multifunctional (copying, faxing, printing & laser scanning all in one), and relative electronic components. 100% of its products are for export.
