In 1990,
Fuji Xerox of Shanghai Limited donated the 10,000th Xerox 1027 photocopier
to the newly-established Pudong Development Office of Shanghai Municipal
Government.

to Beijing Committee for bidding for the 2000 Olympic Games.

Fuji Xerox of Shanghai Limited sponsored RMB 13.4 million to East
Asia Games.
In 1997, Fuji Xerox (China) Ltd donated 1.2 million dollars worth of printing equipment to five universities, under former Ministry of Electronics Industry.
In 1997,
Fuji Xerox of Shanghai Ltd. helped set up a Xerox Hope
School in Pingxiang, Jiangxi, with RMB 250,000 saved from its budget
for its tenth anniversary celebration. Meanwhile, Xerox employees
also donated nearly RMB 40,000 to assist 97 needy students. The
company's trade union donated a large number of books to the school
library. In 1998, Shanghai Fuji Xerox again donated RMB 30,000 to
improve the school's teaching facilities. In 1999, Shanghai Fuji
Xerox donated a V338 photocopier, and RMB 30,000 to build a 200-meter
running track for the school. From 2000 to 2002, the trade union
continued its visits to the school.
In 1997,
Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. signed a cooperative agreement on a Visiting
Fellowship Program with Beijing University, University of Science
and Technology of China, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Northern
Jiaotong University to assist graduate students of those universities
to study in Japan.

Jiaotong University and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
